The FF10 and FF11 is HRE Performance’s latest and greatest pair of FlowForm wheels and they began with the production of these wheels in 19 and 20-inch variants. However, after a while and with HRE Performance’s FlowForm wheels increasing in demand, HRE Performance’s R&D department pushed the envelope of wheel manufacturing and production, and they’ve now released these amazingly gorgeous wheels in 21 and 22-inch variants and now our inventories are flushed with HRE Performance’s FlowForm wheels with variants ranging from 19-inch form factors up to 22-inches.

With that in mind, this brings us to our latest project. A client paid us a visit with a Porsche Macan, looking for a full refresh consisting of wheels and a full bodykit. Malaysian Porsche Macan units are delivered with wheels sized out in 20 or 21-inch sizes and to us, with an SUV of this size, a set of 21-inch sized wheels is the perfect, ideal diameter which would complement the dimensions of this SUV. The dimensions of the wheels were sized out at 9.5J x 21-inches in the front and 10.5J x 21-inches in the rear and boasted perfectly aggressive offsets that filled up the fender wells of the Porsche Macan.

Of all the wheels in our showroom, our client picked out a set of HRE Performance’s FlowForm FF11 wheels in HRE Performance’s Signature opulent Liquid Metal wheel finish which would complement the bodywork of this Porsche Macan perfectly whilst contrasting with the blacked out panels on the SUV. 

In order to meet our client’s needs and desires, we confirmed an order for a full TechArt bodykit. When the bodykit arrived in our showroom, we had the pieces of the bodykit which are comprised of a front spoiler, a pair of side skirts, and a rear diffuser painted in Metallic Silver, matching the current paintwork of the Macan and the Liquid Metal FF11 wheels!

As such, when all the bits and pieces our client ordered were ready, we had the HRE Performance FlowForm FF11 wheels wrapped up in Michelin’s Latitude Sport 3 tires. The tires were sized out at 265/40/21 in the front and 295/35/21 in the rear and these Michelin boots would guarantee grip on any surface in rain or shine! 

As the makeover was wrapped up, we felt that the Porsche, with all its new-found stylish aggression, was missing something that could make it even better! With that in mind, as the exclusive Malaysian distributor of H&R products, we fitted a set of H&R’s High-Performance Lowering Springs and it dropped the Macan’s ride height by a massive 40mm!

A former client of ours paid us a visit, looking to revamp the look and feel of his Volkswagen GTi. Already running Bilstein’s B8 shock absorbers as well as H&R’s anti-roll bars, his hot hatch handled like a dream but through his eyes, his Golf GTi it was still lacking a certain wow factor. With that in mind, he headed over to our office to have a look at how we could spice up the look of his car.

Upon stepping into our office’s showroom floor, he was greeted by a myriad of wheel design options and knew that one of our wheel designs could do the trick in hyping up the look and feel of his GTi. He looked at our extensive line up of Vorsteiner products and he spotted the V-FF 111 wheel design. 

With a unique overlapping V-spoke design, the V-FF 111 wheel boasts a design profile never before seen in this segment of wheels and as a result, our client wanted a set of these wheels installed on his ride! Given that he was satisfied with a set of wheels in an 18-inch form factor, we had the V-FF 111 wheels installed in a size of 8.5J x 18-inches all around and they we’re finished in Vorsteiner’s Signature Carbon Graphite color scheme to deliver a perfect contrast with the GTi’s paintwork. 

After the installation of the wheels, we knew our client was more than happy with the whole makeover. Whilst conducting a short photography session of his car, we caught the owner smiling away at the corner of our camera lenses and we knew it was a job well done on our side. In our opinion, the GTi looks absolutely fantastic! With the new wheels, this Golf GTi would not only look great but drive even better, especially with the wheels working and complementing the other upgraded suspension components.

Ever since Mercedes debuted the CLA-Class Shooting Brake, I’ve always been in awe of its looks! It’s not your typically styled wagon, it’s a precisely sculpted, super curvaceous, gracefully crafted CLA-Class that I would drive any day in place of its sedan sibling and with that in mind, I was utterly disappointed that I wasn’t in office when the makeover was being done!

Our client was based on the island of Langkawi, off the northwestern coast of Malaysia. With over 400 kilometers of asphalt sitting in between our client and our office, his journey to our office began in the wee hours of the morning and ended in the afternoon as he stepped into our office and was greeted with a myriad of wheel design options. Having read the announcement of HRE Performance’s FlowForm FF11 wheel on our social media feeds, our client paid us a visit with an aim to have a set of those wheels installed on his CLA.

After looking at the FF11’s finish options, our client settled for a set of 8.5J x 19-inch FF11 wheels, finished in HRE’s forged-like, signature Liquid Metal finish! We had the wheels wrapped up with a set of Michelin’s Pilot Sport 4S tires and had the whole set installed onto the Mercedes and the end results were truly staggering! With a fender flushed installation, the Shooting Brake looks absolutely amazing! These FF11 wheels feature iconic styling and a unique five-spoke styling that guarantees added character and sportiness. Apart from just aesthetics, being a specialist in the Forged Wheel industry, HRE has designed the FF11’s to be as light possible and as strong as possible in order to deliver sharper driving dynamics!

Once the installation of the wheels was completed, our client then surprised us with a request to have a set of H&R’s anti-roll bars installed on his Shooting Brake CLA-Class. As we’re H&R’s exclusive sole distributor in the country, we had immediate stock for H&R’s anti-roll bar and as such, we had the products ready and installed immediately on our client’s Shooting Brake CLA!

We’ve installed dozens and dozens of H&R’s Anti-Roll Bars on various Mercedes CLA-Class models but never a Shooting Brake and, given that this is a unique article, we’d thought we do a short brief on what Anti-Roll Bars do! H&R Anti-Roll Bars are crafted from a special (hf) 50CrV4 steel alloy of which is the highest tensile strength available. First of all, though this may be an M-Sport 3-Series, for us, we give our clients more than a few options for us to work on the car and improve its overall dynamics. Our first step to improve to push the limits of this Bimmer was to swap out the lowering springs that our client was running. Initially running a set of H&R’s standard lowering springs, he opted with us to install a set of H&R’s set of ultra-low high performance lowering springs. H&R’s usual lowering drops the height from stock to about 30mm lower, however, our client wanted to slam his ride even lower! As such, an all new set of H&R’s ultra-low high-performance lowering springs drops the Bimmer’s ride height another 15mm for a total of a 45mm dropped ride height from stock, thus, lowering its center of gravity and its overall aesthetics!

The next step to improving the Bimmer’s handling characteristics was to completely eliminate body roll. Stock BMW’s come equipped with anti-roll bars which are way too thin and therefore their body roll is way too excessive! As such, after a brief discussion with our client, he opted to install a set of H&R’s High-Performance Anti-Roll Bars for complete elimination of body-roll through the corners!

Now, we get to the best and most interesting part of the article. With the dropped ride height, his current set of wheels would never look good on his car and after our client surveyed the wheel options in our office along with a few of our recommendations, he picked HRE’s FlowForm FF15 Wheel as his favourite in our office! The wheel not only suits the new stance of the car but also fills up the fender flares and gaps, enabling the wheel to sit super flush within the Bimmers fenders! As his cars bodywork was finished in Estoril Blue, we recommended him a set of the wheels which are finished in Tarmac Black as we knew, that the colour combo would be the best contrasting colour combinations on the BMW!

Breathtaking looks, low in weight but yet extremely durable, HRE’s FlowForm wheels are born in the land of the rising sun, Japan and then raised in California, USA. It’s unique design elements featured in their FF15 wheels, highlights HRE’s attention to the most minute details when producing a FlowForm wheel. Though these wheels remain low in weight, HRE’s FlowForm wheels posses high-levels of strength and durability, perfect for taking on the battered potholed roads of Malaysia. As additional info, HRE has put in a lot of effort in setting their wheels apart from the makes of other manufacturers with a level of concavity known as their “conical concavity” to give a sense of depth and detail in their wheel the design elements on their wheels.

Overall, our client visited our office in pursuit of a DTM look and feel and with all the parts installed, not only does this 3-Series look better than most others out there, it also performs on a whole new level!

Having heard of our status of our sole distributorship of Vorsteiner products from a previous client of ours of which had purchased numerous Vorsteiner products from us, the owner of this BMW M3 of which he had only just collected, took a 500 kilometer drive from the state of Terengganu, Malaysia down to our showroom located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Stepping in to our showroom revealed to our client the vast amounts of applications for his M3, and with the client being set on Vorsteiner wheels, we test fitted a few wheels for his selection. Ultimately, after trying a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 103’s finished in Vorsteiner’s unique Patina Bronze finish, his decision was made immediately. With the car bodied in Metallic Black Sapphire, the Patina Bronze finished V-FF 103’s paired the M3 perfectly!

Sized out at 8.5J x 19″ in the front and 10J x 19″ in the rear, these new wheels cut about 35% of the weight from the stock wheels and as a result, it improves the overall handling characteristics of the Bimmer, especially for an M3. When this Volkswagen Passat CC paid us a visit, we knew it already came equipped with adaptive shock absorbers (DCC) giving its users the ability to switch damping stiffness. However, being a five-year old vehicle, our client felt that the handling of the car was deteriorating with its age and mileage.
