Now, we’ve had a set of Kelleners Sport Munchen wheels in storage for about 10 years. The reason we never sold it was the fact that the market wasn’t as interested in the Kelleners Sport brand as they used to be. As a brief background on the brand, Kelleners Sport was once a legendary, BMW exclusive tuner that specialized in anything and everything BMW. These days though, the world has moved on to cooler looking wheel designs but that’s not to say that these Kelleners Sport wheels are bad, they’re just a little old in its age and design.

However, to our surprise, we received a call from a client with a BMW F25 X3 who was looking for these exact wheels. As such, we invited our client over, and immediately after that call was ended, he appeared at our office within the hour. Initially, he was looking for a set of 19-inch wheels but we convinced him that the look of the car would be better off with a set of 20-inch wheels given its size and girth. 

We gave our client an ultra-good deal and he confirmed the purchase immediately! The wheels were finished in a very attractive colour pattern which comprised of the wheel being painted in Matte Black with its Inner Barrel painted in Matte Silver for a cool looking contrast but despite that, our client inquired on whether we could respray the wheels into a different colour as he was concerned if the wheels would suit the Sapphire Black paintwork of the BMW X3. We assured him that the end result would be amazing.

After we had the wheels wrapped up with a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx 050 tires, we installed the wheels on the BMW X3 and we could see our client’s smile getting wider and brighter. He was more than satisfied with how the X3 turned out to look and he appreciated our advise on the colour combinations. Though, this set of wheels may be a tad old in terms of design but as we always expected, these wheels would hype up the look of any BMW it’s fitted on and this BMW X3 looks much better with these new Kelleners Sport Munchen wheels!

Now, the Kelleners Sport “Munchen” (Munich in German) wheel, is no stranger to us with it being on the market for sometime now. Named after the area of origin for the Kelleners Sport company, the Hamburg II wheel is a wheel that comprises Kelleners Sport’s classic and iconic designs in a modern, contemporary look. A 2-piece look and 15 filigree spokes give a unique look to the “Hamburg II” model. The spokes reach from the recessed centre hub with the Kelleners Sport logo to the outermost edge of the rim. This gives the wheel an illusion of a larger appearance.

Finished in Matte Black with contrasting polished silver bolts for a two-piece look, the Kelleners Sport Hamburg II is compatible with the BMW X5 and X6. The wheel fitment installed on this particular X5 is measured at 10J x 22 and each wheel weighs lighter than the stock wheel. The installed Matte Black Kelleners Sport Hamburg II wheel over this BMW X5’s Alpine White body adds a level of sportiness as a result of the contrasting colours. Installed without the need of spacers, the wheel is aligned with the car’s fender, thus, making the car look broader and muscular.

Seen here is an F25 BMW X3 LCI with a set of 20″ Kelleners Sport Munchen wheels equipped. The Southwest German tuning specialists, Kelleners Sport have once again set striking accents in terms of wheel design. The one-piece cast-aluminium wheel is distinguished by five concave double spokes running from the concaved centre to the very outer edge of the rim. The ‘Munchen’ (that’s German for Munich) wheel design comes in two attractive colours and fits all BMW automobiles except the X5 and X6 SUVs. Quite recently, the owner of this extremely rare BMW 5-Series F11 Touring visited our showroom with intentions to switch out his stock set of wheels. A beautiful M5 in pure stock form came into our showroom sometime back. The owner was looking to turn up the aggression factor of his car. Given that we carry multiple brands in our portfolio, we decided to mix and match a few parts from various manufacturers, to “sportify” this M5.

On the front fascia, we’ve equipped the Vorsteiner front splitter, which is composed of the finest autoclave pre-impregnated carbon fibre, which brings superior durability, stiffness and strength. However, the front splitter is one of a kind, consisting of two parts which are the full add-on lips and an additional centre splitter. Over at the rear of the car, we’ve fitted a new rear diffuser, manufactured by Vorsteiner as well. The diffuser, of course composed of carbon fibre, completely changes the look of the original bumper, and from a rear three quarter view, the cars sporty character is much more profound. To add a more menacing appeal to the car, a Kelleners Sport exhaust system was fitted, and the effects were instantly noticeable. The cars exhaust note is completely different, bystanders will definitely hear a more aggressive soundtrack, perfect for the M5’s character. As a side benefit, the exhaust system reduces the weight of the original exhaust system, therefore, reducing the entire overall weight of the car.

Last but not least, as the owner did not like the look of the original forged M5 wheels, he asked us for a suggestion on a set of wheels that might amplify the aggression factor on his car. We suggested a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 102’s in their Carbon Graphite finish measured at 9J x 20″ and 10.5J x 20″ for the front and rear respectively. This staggered wheel set up that is both wider and lighter than stock, will cater for the mountainous amount of power sent from its twin-turbo V8 engine to the rear wheels, and at the same time enhancing the aesthetics of the car. With Vorsteiner’s expertise in Flow-Forged wheels, these VFF-102’s drops the overall weight of the car, thus enhancing the limit performance of the car. For that extra level of driver control, the wheels we’re wrapped up with Pirelli P-Zero’s at all four corners.

The perfect combination and marriage of these parts make the car outstanding. No one could ever mistake this car of being an ordinary M5.
