We got acquainted with a fan of our blog of which paid a visit to our showroom days ago. Claiming he reads our blogs often and enjoys the features that we post on our blog site, he was looking forward to a set of wheels to replace his aged BMW F10 stock alloys.

As our client browsed through our blog posts on our site, he fell in love with a set of Vorsteiner’s groundbreaking V-FF 107 alloys and was keen on a set of em on his car. Of course, with our blog site being constantly updated with new articles and images, the BMW F10 5-series is one of the car’s that we work on very often and thus, that gives our client an opportunity to review the makeovers we’ve done on this generation 5-series!

Once he had read enough, he paid a visit to our showroom to grab a set of Vorsteiner’s V-FF 107 wheels. As he requested a set sized in 20 inch forms, we had no objection as we felt that size is the ideal size for a set of wheels. We did recommend him the set of V-FF 107 alloys finished in Vorsteiner’s Titanium Machine finish as the lighter color finish of the wheels would contrast perfectly with the Carbon Black body colour of his 5-Series. The Titanium Machined finish of the wheels also highlights the details of the V-FF 107 wheels such as the Vorsteiner Logo of which is carved on to the 12 o’clock position of the wheel and the proud industrial stamping symbolizing the wheels certification by JIL and VIA authorities!

The wheels fitted were sized up at 9J x 20″ in the front and 10.5J x 20″ in the rear and this set up enables a flush fitment of wheels which ensures that all wheel wells are filled up completely! To give our client absolute control of his car, we wrapped up the wheels with a set of Pirelli P-Zero PZ4 Sport tires of which are composed of BMW’s proprietary Alpina compound which is designed to deliver control like no other. The whole tire and wheel combo was installed via a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts!

Though we’ve said this time and time again with regards to Vorsteiner wheels, we just can’t stop highlighting the fact that these alloys are just so much lighter than the BMW’s stock wheels. Compare any of Vorsteiner’s alloys be it the V-fF 107 or in fact any other wheel designs they offer to any factory wheels and the Vorsteiner set would easily shave off 30-40% of the weight. There’s no compromise in strength either as Vorsteiner’s alloys are designed to stand tough against the most brutal potholes out there! All of Vorsteiner’s alloys in both their Flow Forged and Fully Forged lines are certified by the both the authorities of TUV Austria & VIA of Japan of which thoroughly puts each of their wheel through immersive and extensive strength tests to ensure absolute strength, reduction in weight as well as the safety of a product.

When the installation was completed and our client had enjoyed the new tire & wheel combo for a few days, he returned with his father and had nothing but smiles for the whole set up! The car handles better than ever before, grips better than ever and accelerates faster than ever!
