Our client was running on a set of 18 inch AMG alloys on his Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe. His set of alloys were far from perfect and pristine condition and while he was waiting in our showroom for his car’s worn tires to be swapped out with a set Michelin’s Pilot Sport 4 tires, he inquired if there were any good looking 18 inch wheel options. What we had on our display was the very best 18 inch alloys in the industry being the V-FF 108 wheel, one of Vorsteiner’s newest alloys and our client loved it!

As such, from a tire change the whole process was now also a wheel change and with the breathtaking aesthetics of the V-FF 108 wheel, the decision was made immediately on the spot. Comparing his stock 18 inch AMG alloys, the Vorsteiner V-FF 108’s cuts off about 35% of the weight of the initial stock wheels and thus, improves the cars dynamics in terms of acceleration and dynamics. Less weight equals more performance with the tyres fitted working well with the lightweight wheels, our clients confidence in the car was better than ever.

Quite honestly, the best part of the wheels wasn’t the weight reduction achieved but was the look of the wheels as a whole! The V-FF 108 features the sharpest, sportiest and edgiest design ethic of the Vorsteiner line up in my opinion and to me, in the 18 inch segment, there’s no other wheel that looks better than this! Paired up with Vorsteiner’s signature Carbon Graphite finish, the wheels look better than ever and turns up the looks of the Mercedes! Though the weight savings of which emphasizes the performance of the car does a whole lot for the car to drive well, the look of the vehicle as a whole definitely looks a whole lot better than with the AMG stock rims.

At 8.5J x 18″ in the front and 9.5J x 18″ in the rear, the offsets of the wheels and the fitment of the set broadens up the shoulders of the E-Class Coupe as the previous AMG’s were extremely narrow. The flush fitment of the wheels fills up the four corners of the car perfectly and adding to that, the car will perform better than ever with the wider wheels placing more rubber in contact with the road!
