The V-FF 109 and the V-FF 110 joined the Vorsteiner Flow Forged line as Vorsteiner’s latest and greatest iterations of wheel craftsmanship. We were paid a visit by a client of which had a Range Rover Sport! Though he was running a sportier set of alloys than other Range Rover Sports out there, he felt it was just not good looking enough for the sporty charisma of the car and with that in mind, he paid us a visit undecided on which set of alloys he would like on his ride!

As he was running on 22 inch wheels, he was looking for a set of new 22 inch alloys that would look a whole lot better than his current stock alloys. Vorsteiner offers the V-FF 107 and the all new V-FF 109 as their pair of 22 inch wheel options. Both look completely different from each other with their own contemporary designs with the V-FF 107 being the aggressive and sportier choice of the two and the V-FF 109 boasting a more elegant and simplistic interpretation of sportiness.

After discussing back and forth over the designs of the two, our client opted for a set of V-FF 109 wheels of which look absolutely amazing. The V-FF 109 may stun readers in photos but its look in person is truly amazing! The V-FF 109 is Vorsteiner’s rendition of a modern day 10 spoke design. Featuring spoke cuts to reduce weight whilst adding subtle details to the design. In addition to that, the spokes are designed to run from the outer lip all the way to the center hub of the bowl giving the illusions of a larger overall wheel diameter!

From my point of view, I believe that our client fell in love with the V-FF 109 wheel in part due to the all new Zara Grey finish of the wheel of which gives the alloy a Matte Silver look whilst incorporating a darker tone to give the wheel a more eye catching wow factor that would perfectly contrast with the dark paint job of our clients Range Rover Sport.

Moving from an aesthetical to a technical point of view, the wheels are sized at 10.5J x 22″ and along with a very aggressive offset, the wheels fitment is laid out perfectly parallel to the fenders of the Range Rover. Despite being wider than the stock alloys, the Vorsteiner wheels are at a minimum 30% lighter than the weight of the previous alloys which should enable the Range Rover to perform better than ever! The wider offset also allows for wider tires to be fitted and as such, we bundled up a set of Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires to deliver the very best performance and grip to push the limits of the Range Rover Sport! The whole set was installed via a set of BLOX Sport’s forged aluminium wheel nuts and with all the upgrades installed on the Range Rover our client loved the driving feel of his car, highlighted by the massive reduction in weight!
