Known to the world as the Carrera, the Porsche 911 is one of the worlds most iconic supercars! As I write this article, I will admit that the 911 Carrera is one of my favourite supercars! All you need to say is you have a Carrera and instantly, people will know you’re the owner of one of the worlds most renowned supercars!

Now, we’re more than familiar with the Vorsteiner brand of wheels… They have manage to perfect their engineering technologies to the highest level with flow forged performance wheels that can compete with forged wheels at a lower price! With that, as the owner of the Porsche 911 walked in, he was bowed over with the selection of wheels that we offer!

From Germany, to USA, to Japan, we have a broad selection of wheels on offer for the preference of our clients. However, the one wheel that caught the owners eye was, Vorsteiner’s iconic V-FF 101 wheel! Originally, the V-FF 101 was the wheel that got the Flow Forged ball rolling for the Vorsteiner brand and initially, the V-FF 101 was manufactured exclusively for Porsche fitment.

When Vorsteiner USA first launched their Flow-Forged line-up of wheels back in 2015, the V-FF 101 was the first model introduced to the market. The five aggressive Y-Spokes and the wheel’s deep concavity, really highlights the cars broad hips especially with its 11 inch wide rear tires. The deep concavity seen on the rear set of the alloys, is highlighted even further by the use of Vorsteiner’s Signature Carbon Graphite finish of which incorporates glittery sparkles to deliver a finish that’s unmatched by any other wheel out there!

Stock Porsche 911 alloys are not only extremely heavy in weight, but when fitted, remain deep in the fender, distrupting the natural curves of this iconic Porsche supercar. As such, when Vorsteiner manufactured the V-FF 101 to the 911’s specifications, they ensured that the fitment will ensure a flush fitment within the fenders that ensures that the wheel’s, when fitted, would deliver an aggressive, parallel to fender fitment!

At 8.5Jx 20″ in the front and 11J x 20″ in the rear, each alloy would only weigh just over 10 kilograms which is an amazing, eye-opening figure for a wheel of this size! Ultra low in weight, the V-FF 101’s would reduce unsprung mass on the Porsche and enable it to drive harder and faster than ever through each and every corner presented. Despite the low weight, the Vorsteiner alloys also remain incredibly strong thanks to Vorsteiner’s use of their own proprietary compound which ensures the client absolute peace of mind when running through our pothole lined roads of Malaysia!

All in all, without these Vorsteiner goodies, this Porsche 911 Carrera S wouldn’t ever be perfect! The marriage of an outstanding supercar and outstandingly outspoken, gorgeous wheels truly takes this Carrera to the next level. With the vehicle’s paint job gorgeously contrasting with the finish on the wheels, the stock alloys of the Porsche would be no match in terms of both aesthetics and performance for the Vorsteiner alloys!
