A Mercedes-Benz S400h paid us a visit all but a few days ago, of which was kitted up with a striking but yet classy Brabus bodykit that just makes the whole Mercedes ever so stunning. We saw this as a bit unusual as S-Class’ vehicles are usually chauffeur driven for their owners. However, our client drives his own S-Class and he drives it hard, which led him into paying us a visit, looking into swapping out his set of stock wheels for a set of our options.

As the editor of Autofuture Design’s content and as per my knowledge, all Mercedes-Benz S-Class models come equipped with 20″ inch wheels which are known to give our previous clients massive heartaches and headaches! Cracking up and getting dented on nearly each and every other S-Class client we accommodate, the stock S-Class wheels have a really bad reputation. Our client himself had his set of stock alloys repaired and welded, but as they say, anything that’s repaired will never be as good as new.

Looking to alleviate his problem he paid us a visit to replace his set of wheels and we were ready to assist him with the broad wheel options we have available in our showroom! His S-Class seemed untouched and unscratched, in perfect mint condition and he was looking for a striking set of alloys that’ll both match and contrast with his car’s Obsidian Black body colour.

In our opinion a 20 inch set of alloys would be the perfect size for the S-Class. There’s no need for an inch smaller nor an inch bigger, 20s would bring out the best from this luxurious sedan. Looking for a wheel that would bridge the gap between aggression and classiness, our client had a look at our wheel options and was totally bowed over Vorsteiner’s V-FF 102 wheel of which we showed him a few other S-Classes that had the same wheel fitted on. To achieve the colour combo that our client desired, we had a set of Titanium Machine finished, 20 inch V-FF 102 wheels installed on to his car of which is a new finish that was only just recently introduced into the V-FF 102 line.

Once installed on to the S-Class, the Titanium Machined finish of the wheels truly brings out the best of this gorgeous saloon. Matching the chrome accents of the Brabus bodykit and contrasting perfectly with the Obsidian Black paintjob of the S-Class, the V-FF 102 is the perfect fir for the S-Class. Up until now, Vorsteiner used to offer the Titanium machined finish only on a handful of wheels, due to the demand of V-FF 102 wheel of which is still a very popular option amongst enthusiasts, Vorsteiner has now introduced the Titanium Machined finish on V-FF 102 wheel variants to give clients yet another option to style up their ride!

Sized up at 9J x 20 in the front and 10J x 20 in the rear, Vorsteiner USA built specifically these alloys in these dimensions for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class enabling a fitment that is completely flush and sits aligned, parallel to the fenders of this S-Class. Its also important to note that the new wheels remain at least 40% lighter than the set of stock alloy wheels. The reduction in weight along with the wider track at the rear would enable this S-Class to handle better than ever, delivering our client an S-Class that feels better than ever on the road!
