Earlier this week, a customer whom is the owner of this magnificent white Q7 approached us with intentions of replacing his bald rubbers. With that in mind, he sat down for a short chat in our showroom whilst viewing the dozens of other products we offer. As we always do, we began the process of replacing his tires at all four corners. However, as we chatted away, a product that caught his eye was a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 103‘s in their Carbon Graphite finish. Despite the wheel’s mean and aggressive appearance, the owner was concerned that the wheel’s outlook may not suit the rather elegant aesthetics of the vehicle.
With the experience gained from being Vorsteiner’s Genuine exclusive distributor in Malaysia, we reassured him that without a doubt, these mean 21″ rollers will suit the car like a tailor made suit. Given that his car’s body was white, it only made complete sense to choose this colour as the contrast between the car’s body and wheel’s are highlighted more profoundly. Furthermore, to add that extra touch of character and contrast, we threw in a set of Vorsteiner Limited Edition Red Caps. As a whole though, with the wheels measured at 10J x 21″ at all four corners, broadens up the shoulders of the car. It definitely presents a much more muscular design that is so superior to the previous design that you could mistake this Q7 for being a different car. Despite the highlight of this article being the new set of Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheels, we did not forget to replace the Q7’s old tires with a new set of Pirelli P-Zero’s sized 295/35/21 at all four corners, providing the best amount of grip Italy can give.

The Audi Q range emphasises Audi’s Quattro 4-Wheel Drive system, and the huge Q7 is the flagship SUV of the range. In a nutshell, the change of wheels and wheel caps themselves, almost completely remodels the look of the car. The bigger wheels make the car look broader, wider and definitely a ton more aggressive than initially. With the increase in size from the initial 20″ Audi wheels to the 21″ Vorsteiner wheels, the overall weight of the car is reduced further thanks to Vorsteiner’s Flow-Forged construction technology. Weighted at 11.97kg each, the reduced weight will enable the car to perform much better than its standard OEM set-up. Without a doubt, the owner was more than happy with the new applications.
