Spotted: Porsche 911 Carrera S Converted To A Porsche 911 GT3
Last week, along the busy streets of Damansara Utama, we spotted a converted Porsche 911 GT3 (991). Initially, a Porsche 911 Carrera S, the new body panels bolted on to the car definitely makes this 911 standout from the crowd. After surveying the car, we were pleasantly surprised to see a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 101’s equipped on this mean looking Porsche. Finished in Mystic Black, these wheels contrasts perfectly with the cars main body colour. Compared to the stock set of Porsche wheels, the V-FF 101’s fitment within the fenders enable the car’s shoulders to look more broader and muscular due to the fitment of the wheels which are parallel to the fender. Therefore, it enables the wheels to remain flush within the cars body. As with most rear-wheel drive cars, this Porsche also boasts a staggered set up measured at 8.5J x 20″ in the front and 11J x 20″ in the rear. This layout coupled to the wheel’s lower offset as compared to standard Porsche setup, enables the car to look more aggressive, great for enhancing the dynamic sporty appearance of the car. As a plus point, the wider measurements of the rear wheels showcase the deep concavity of the wheels design elements, again bringing forward a more sporty character.
