As I fired up the iMac in our office to kick start another day of writing, I stumbled across a folder which contained more than a handful of photos of a BMW X6M we recently worked on and of course, there was no way I could resist featuring these photos!

We needed to reach our clients expectations in a spectacular way as he briefed us on his wants and needs to turn up the looks of his Alpine White BMW X6M and we knew exactly what to do! The first thing we did was to have a new rear diffuser delivered to our location from Germany, courtesy of Hamann Tuning of Germany. This completely refreshes the X6M’s rear end and gives it a more aggressive look.

The new diffuser requires a center mounted exhaust system and that’s exactly what we did! We ordered in a full Hamann exhaust system which goes along with the diffuser and gives the X6M a touch more aggression in terms of aesthetics, especially from the rear end. In terms of performance, the new exhaust system is sure to extract a tad more power from the X6M’s 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 and definitely turns up the volume of the engine! With all that done, we felt that we could still take another extra step to making the X6M’s look even more aggressive and as such, we finished up the rear end with an M-Performance Rear Boot Lid Spoiler!

Of course, how could we ever wrap up a makeover without featuring a set of wheels and for the X6M’s refresh, we selected a set of Vorsteiner’s V-FF 103’s to go along with the new refreshed body! Mentioned times before even this article, the V-FF 103 wheels exhibit the deepest concavity profiles of any Flow Forged wheel on the market!

Sized out at 10J x 21″ at the front and 11J x 21″ in the rear, aligned in a staggered setup, these new wheels cut about 40% of the weight from the stock wheels and as a result, it improves the overall handling characteristics of this sporting SUV. At under 12 kilograms per wheel, the Audi would be able to pull and accelerate harder than ever with less weight! Both aesthetically and technically, Vorsteiner wheels are true masterpieces filled with precision craftsmanship to the tiniest details!
