Carbonized Italia: Ferrari 458 Italia Done Up With Vorsteiner’s 458-V Carbon Aero Program!
Many may argue that there’s always room for improvement, even for the finest automobiles out there! Now, you’ve seen our previous article on the Vorsteiner 458-VX program for the Ferrari 458 Italia but today, we’re featuring Vorsteiner’s 458-V program, which aims to deliver better aerodynamics and aesthetics without overdoing the looks of the aerokit!
No matter how complete a car maybe, there’s always a way to sprinkle a tad more aftermarket parts to take your 458 to the next level. One example would be Vorsteiner and Ferrari. To most people a Ferrari 458 Italia is perfect the way it is. The engineers at Vorsteiner may have shared a rather different opinion and as such, they’ve developed the 458-V package!
With years of high-performance vehicle experience, Vorsteiner developed a carbon fiber add-on front spoiler that is integrated into the contours of the vehicle. The piece is fully functional and designed to direct air into the engine’s radiator. The use of carbon fiber makes the pieces lightweight and durable. The rear also features a carbon fiber add-on decklid spoiler. A rear diffuser was added to work in conjunction with the rear spoiler. This design also created an opportunity to add a lower rear vent to dissipate heat created by the component in the rear end like the exhaust. Included with the rear diffuser package is the carbon fiber rear fog lamp housing to accommodate the new diffuser bridge element.
With all the power the 458 makes, all the carbon fiber bits work at speed to deliver outstanding grip and downforce and in turn the overall package gives the driver even more confidence that the factory’s stock setup! You’ve seen us times over working on various 458’s before, however, this is our first proper makeover featuring a full build up with Vorsteiner’s Carbon Fiber Aero Parts! All in all, with the new aero bits tacked on, the car looks great in photos but even more breathtaking in person!
No changes to original parts have to be made to install this package. This makes it a perfect solution for those that want to make their car stand out without the hassle of various other modifications under the sheet metal.
