You’ve seen us work on a Range Rover Vogue, the Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover Evoque! Next up, it’s the all-new Range Rover Velar that we’ve just worked on! The Velar is the newest addition into the Range Rover line up and thanks to our client of whom owns this SUV, we had a pleasure working on it!

Our client came by, with a stock Range Rover Velar, looking for a set of wheels that’ll suit his SUV. With an SUV of this size, the only wheel size that would be perfect for this SUV would be a wheel sized at 22 inches and as such, Vorsteiner offers two wheel designs of which are available in a 22 inch size, the V-FF 107 and the V-FF 109 wheels! From the two wheel designs we introduced to our client, he preferred the V-FF 107 over the other and wanted a set on his ride!

However, at that particular moment, we we’re still yet to receive stock of these wheels in the Velar’s application size. Our stock had actually arrived at the Port of Klang and only had customs to clear which should take nothing more than a few days. With that in mind, our client booked a set of those alloys and in the meantime, he had his Range Rover’s bodywork wrapped up in a cool matte grey colour!

With a few days before the stock of V-FF 107 wheels reached our office, we took the time to order in a set of tires for the Range Rover Velar of which uses a unique, rare sized set of tires. The set of Pirelli P-Zero tires were sized out at 265/40/22 and was extremely difficult to procure, however, as we work with the very best tire suppliers in the nation, we’re able to bundle up the wheel and tire set at a very reasonable price!

Once the stock of wheels arrived at our showroom, we had them wrapped up with the tires and notified our client of whom drove over immediately, excited to have his set of V-FF 107’s installed on his ride! Once installed, the Carbon Graphite finish of the V-FF 107 wheels complements the Matte Grey wrap of the Velar perfectly! At a size of 9.5J x 22 inches at all four corners, the fitment of these V-FF 107 wheels were built and tailored specifically for the Velar! Once fitted, the tailored offsets of the wheel ensures that the wheel sits flush against the fenders of the Range Rover, widening the wheel track and broadening the shoulders of the vehicle, for better handling and perfected aesthetics!

The V-FF 107 wheels are Vorsteiner’s best selling wheels right now and for good reason, they are absolutely amazing in terms of aesthetic appeal but also amazing from a performance standpoint! Despite being bigger than the stock wheels of the Velar, the V-FF 107’s are a whole 35% lighter than the factory wheels, whilst being stronger than them! The use of Vorsteiner’s proprietary aluminium compounds has resulted in all of their Flow Forged wheels being extremely strong whilst being lighter than any stock comparably sized wheel out there!

Once all this was completed, the Range Rover Velar, looks and performs completely differently! The reduced weight has given the Velar more dynamic capabilities, performing harder at the limit! Its amazing how with just a set of wheels, we’ve been able to inject performance into an SUV of this size! With our stock of V-FF 107 wheels now replenished, we have dozens of wheels looking for new homes on the very best automobiles out there and this is just one Range Rover Velar of many more to come!
