M-Performance X6 Equipped With Vorsteiner V-FF 103’s
To overcome the office’s Monday morning blues, a returning regular customer brought in a BMW E71 X6 fully equipped with BMW’s M-Performance pack. With its flared fenders, and super aggressive bumpers, this Beemer boasts a brutally menacing front fascia. As the owner whom is a massive car enthusiast, he tuned up his car both inside and out to maximise the X6’s performance. The modifications include, ecu remapping, stage 2 engine tuning and a set H&R of spacers to align the wheels in parallel with the fenders. As it sits, his X6 came with 21″ BMW Performance Wheels Style 375 and its aesthetics though aggressive, the contours and curvatures of the wheel give it a rather flat profile.
As BMW’s of the modern era come in all shapes and sizes, Vorsteiner of course has manufactured their wheels to fit on the X6 shown in the photos. Without the need of a set of spacers, the wheels sit exactly parallel to the fenders of the car showcasing its masculinity. The pristine X6 now has a touch more aggression with the new V-FF 103’s. With an 11J x 21″ rear end, the wheels concaved profile definitely stands out among the other X6’s out there. The owner chose a set of 21 inch Vorsteiner Flow Forged V-FF 103 wheels, which contrast gorgeously with the cars white body.

After the wheels were fitted on, the owner went for a drive and immediately called us up and mentioned the massive improvements in acceleration. This is in part, due to the massive reduction in unsprung mass at 32 kilograms saved overall (with no spacers). The car felt so much more lighter as if power had been boosted over 50hp, all in credit due to the massive reduction in unsprung mass which does wonders to make the car feel more agile. Dropping some unsprung mass can definitely make a world of difference.
Upon completion, the new wheels on the BMW fits in seamlessly to bring out more character in this German SUV as the wheels contrast with the cars main body.
