A while back we completed a Vorsteiner build on a brand-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe C238 equipped with a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 102 wheels! We welcomed that same client of ours back into our showroom recently with a new inquiry on his wife’s Audi Q5. He was running on a set of aftermarket 20 inch alloys which were ruining his Q5’s ride, making it ever so harsher and bumpier. With that in mind, he aims to downsize his wheels and achieve a better ride whilst making his ride look more menacing than ever!

A 19 inch size was his one and only criteria and we then showed off our various 19 inch wheel options from the various brands that we carry. However, with his positive review on his V-FF 102 wheels equipped on the Mercedes Coupe, he was confident with the Vorsteiner brand and in turn wanted a set of one of their 19 inch selections on his Qudi Q5 and with all the hype around the V-FF 107 being a great looking, high-performance wheel, he was in love with the V-FF 107’s rugged, aggressive look that’ll look great on his Audi Q5!

With the 10-multidimensional spokes on the front face of the wheel, featuring a mesh design, one may be forgiven for expecting the V-FF 107 wheel to be heavier in weight as compared to the other wheels out there. However, those spokes are as much for design as it is for durability & strength! The V-FF 107 wheel easily shaves off 40% of the weight of the Q5’s previous 20 inch alloys (The new V-FF 107 wheels are 19 inches in diameter), while being as strong as a forged wheel. Those concaved spokes provide a much higher level of structural integrity to give an evermore increased level of strength and durability.

Though in our opinion the 19 inch alloys may be a bit too small with our usual recommended fitment of a size of 20 or 21 inches, the set of V-FF 107 alloys look amazing on this Q5! The Carbon Graphite finish of the wheels contrasts perfectly with the Glossy Metallic White paintjob of the Q5. As a whole, the V-FF 107 wheels are not only lighter than the set of the Q5’s previous aftermarket wheels but stronger as wheel and not to mention better looking as well!
