The all new Audi Q7 in its latest iteration was released with various technical and technological advancements. From a mean new look to new driver assistance features, its completely different from its predecessor. As we got the inquiry from a client of ours on the availability on wheels for his new Q7 as always, we were prepared with ready stock for our alloys to find a new home on his Audi Q7!

The latest generation Audi Q7 was released as a whole new platform. New fitment sizes, new PCD arrangements and with that, introduces a new hurdle for aftermarket wheel manufacturers. Previously the bolt pattern for the Q7 would’ve been 5 x 130mm but with the new Q7, Audi changed the bolt pattern to 5 x 112. As soon as Vorsteiner USA received the news, they introduced their V-FF 107 wheels in a new bolt pattern and size fitment to comply with the new specifications Audi has altered for the Q7.

The Q7 was delivered to our client with a set of wheels sized at 20 inches. As such, our client was looking to get an upgrade to 22 inch wheels and of course, working with us, we have a handful of options that we can offer! With his Q7 bodied in Metallic Black incorporated with some chrome elements, our client was in search of a wheel that would both contrast and match his car’s colour characteristics and we had the perfect set of wheels in mind!

We looked at our Vorsteiner V-FF 107 wheels and showed it to our client. To us, we feel that the V-FF 107 of which would be a set finished in Titanium Machine would contrast perfectly with the car’s body colour as well as the chrome elements seen on the Q7. With the 10-multidimensional spokes on the front face of the wheel, featuring a mesh design, one may be forgiven for expecting the V-FF 107 wheel to be heavier in weight as compared to the other wheels out there. However, those spokes are as much for design as it is for durability & strength! The V-FF 107 wheel easily shaves off 40% of the weight of the Q7’s previous 20 inch alloys (The new V-FF 107 wheels are 22 inches in diameter), while being as strong as a forged wheel. Those concaved spokes provide a much higher level of structural integrity to give an evermore increased level of strength and durability.

As a whole, both our client and us are in love with the end result! It matches the colour combinations seen on the Q7 and completely redesigns the look of the car. Honestly, the aggressive mesh design of the wheel also matches up well with the menacing look of the Q7. He got the tires from us as a whole pakcage along with his rims of which the whole combo was priced very reasonably! Changing a 20 inch tire would be even more expensive than changing his new 22 inch tires to our clients surprise!
