Vorsteiner’s VR-E Program: Exclusively Tailored For The BMW i8
The BMW i8 Hybrid raised the standards of supercars when it was first launched back in 2014. Who ever thought that the German automaker would release such a vehicle that would do 0-100km/h in under 4 seconds in some cases but yet maintain a cool 2.1 litres of petrol consumption per 100km. However, despite its ultra-futuristic looks, Vorsteiner‘s vision to create car customisation options of top notch quality has lead them to develop a program exclusively for the BMW i8 Hybrid, pushing the technological envelope even further of the car customisation options that they offer.
This time we’ll start from the back end, seeing that there’s a whopping carbon aero rear diffuser, composed of the finest Autoclaved Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber. The new rear diffuser doesn’t just only step up the cars aesthetics but also makes this sleek supercar even more aerodynamic, increasing efficiency and boosting high-speed stability & control.
At the front end, just under that finely sculpted kidney grille, Vorsteiner has equipped this i8 with a carbon fiber aero front spoiler. As such, this add-on will enhance airflow control and reduce the cars overall drag, enabling it to accelerate harder and stronger. As a whole though, the new parts installed definitely blends and fits in perfectly with the cars overall design in a way whereby the new modifications flows perfectly with the cars curvaceous profile.
After all those parts were tacked on & installed, to prepare it for the Gold Rush Rally, Vorsteiner fitted a set of their latest 22″ fully-forged custom made wheels, which is due to be announced and launched later this month.
