The Essence Of Luxury: BMW 6-Series Equipped With Vorsteiner V-FF 103
Its no lie that Vorsteiner’s best selling flow forged wheel is the V-FF 103, but when we wrapped up this 6-Series makeover with a set of them, we were stunned by the end result….
It was nothing but another average day in office when a returning client paid us a visit with his new BMW 6-Series. As he briefed us with his intention to replace his set of wheels on his car, we instantly threw out a recommendation for a set of Vorsteiner wheels. Now, if you’d go through our archives of our other makeovers done on the BMW 6-Series, you’d probably notice that most of the makeovers are done with Vorsteiner’s V-FF 102. This time though, in hopes to truly set this car apart we suggested a V-FF 103 fitment to our client to be installed on his car and the end result was truly astounding.
As most of our sold Vorsteiner products, these alloys were finished in Vorsteiner’s signature Carbon Graphite colour in efforts to set a contrast with the cars opulent Space Grey body colour. Featuring Vorsteiner’s ultra-tough proprietary aluminium alloy compound, these wheels are able to take the rough battering of our Malaysian roads, whilst boasting a low weight of under 11 kilograms per wheel. Being a powerful rear-wheel drive coupe, we fitted the wheels in a staggered formation, to give them the ability to hone all of the power coming from this BMW 640i.
We finished up the makeover by wrapping up these wheels with a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber, for maximum levels of driver control and confidence. Heading out for a short drive in the car with its new wheels and tires, we felt a dramatic leap in power and handling, all thanks to the reduced weight of the wheels. While driving, we felt that the car was able to handle every corner and bend much better than its initial set up thanks to not only just the low weight of the wheels, but also the wider track of the wheels giving it maximum contact to the road and maximum grip and control.
