One of the worlds most impressive and most popular autoshow for aftermarket enthusiasts is the SEMA International Autoshow! An acronym for Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Vorsteiner announced a major launch for the event and as such, our general manager, Mr. Allan Tan painstakingly took at 20 hour flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia bound for the McCarran International Airport of Las Vegas.

The SEMA event began its life in 1967 and has since been a major annual event for aftermarket products. Held in the Las Vegas Convention Centre, one of the highlights of the event was definitely the unveiling of Vorsteiner’s McLaren 570S program but we’ll dive into that later. Along with the Vorsteiner booth, our General manager also paid a visit the Bilstein booth, Pirelli booth (which feature Vorsteiner designed vehicles) and various others. Apart from the SEMA booths, we also paid a visit to HRE’s “invite-only” launch event that took place at Palm Place hotel for the launch of a brand new HRE FlowForm wheel dubbed the FF04. Unfortunately, invited guests were not allowed to snap photos, therefore upon its launch we will definitely upload some photos of the new wheel!

Vorsteiner: PerFection redesigned

At Autofuture Design, we’ve always maintained a close relationship to the Vorsteiner crew in the USA. With that in mind, we spent most of our time mingling with the staff & crew of the legendary Vorsteiner brand. At the Vorsteiner booth, the highlight of the entire autoshow was definitely their unveiling of the “THE 570-VX MCLAREN PROGRAM” specifically built for the McLaren 570S supercar. With the aerokit thoroughly handcrafted out of pre-impregnated carbon fibre, the aerokit definitely turns up the supercar appeal on this McLaren. As the models pose all around the vehicle, the echoes of camera shutters fill the area as photographers struggle to get a perfect shot of this engineering masterpiece. Apart from the McLaren, Vorsteiner also brought along a Ferrari 458 Italia done up with their “458 VX PROGRAM” which also includes various carbon fibre parts installed on the car to hype up this gorgeous Italian thoroughbred.

Though the McLaren might have stolen the attention of the photographers, at the event, Vorsteiner also gave the attendees a surprise anouncement of the release of two new lines of forged wheels dubbed Vorsteiner VFN(Vorsteiner Forged Nero) and the Vorsteiner VFS(Vorsteiner Forged Sport). These wheels are machined to perfect specifications for exotics.

Apart from just the SEMA booth, we also attended a couple of other events organized by Vorsteiner such as a after hours party and others.

 

Pirelli & Bilstein

Apart from the Vorsteiner booth of which definitely took the spotlight at the show, we also paid a visit to the Pirelli booth as they had some Vorsteiner modified cars on showcase for their tires.

Shortly after, we paid a visit to the Bilstein crew to grab a quick photo with them and to stay up to date on their recent products.
