BBS CH-R Installed On A Porsche 911 Carrera!
As it stands, the 997 generation Porsche 911 Carrera looks great despite being one generation older than the most recent Porsche Carrera. However, as this client came to us looking to swap out his aged stock wheels for a set of new alloys, we knew exactly what would get his attention!
In my personal opinion, the CH-R is one of BBS’ classic design due to its motorsport inspired design. Long, filigree spokes and an especially small central area give this dynamic lightweight wheel a striking look. The CH-R is definitely not one of our best designs in office but is definitely a wheel that you’ll never go wrong with, as our client appreciated the looks of the CH-R!
The shape alone suggests a close relationship to motor racing, and this is confirmed by the performance – palpable in every turn of the wheel! It hearkens back to BBS’ involvements in motorsports. One of the wheels special features is it’s ‘Motorsport’ laser engraving in the centre of the wheel, replaceable stainless-steel rim protector and back-milled spokes for additional weight reduction.
Fitted at 8.5J x 19″ in the front and 11J x 19″ in the rear, the BBS CH-R wheel filled up the fender wells of the Porsche perfectly and gives it a nice broad stance. The shoulders of the Carrera instantly shows up wider and more gorgeously postured.
