After we wrapped up a Vorsteiner V-FF 101 installation on a Mercedes-Benz W205 C-Class of which took place about a month ago (http://www.autofuturedesign.com.my/v3/mercedes-benz-c-class-equipped-with-v-ff-101-wheels/), we have heard nothing but good words from our client! Greater acceleration characteristics, outstanding improved performance and boosted handling dynamics, its a whole different game when your car is equipped with Vorsteiner’s ultralight weight wheels!

We were paid a visit by a friend of our previous client, of which was also an owner of yet another Mercedes-Benz C-Class albeit in the C350e variant. As such with the good words of our previous client, his friend stepped in to our showroom to get his hands on a set of Vorsteiner wheels!

Though his definite target was a set of Vorsteiner wheels, he had a tough time deciding on which model to have on his Mercedes! Vorsteiner offers 8 options in terms of wheel designs in their Flow Forged line up, with each individual wheel holding unique & different characteristics! In the end, he settled for a set of the ever popular Vorsteiner V-FF 107’s and of course that transformed the look of his car!

In place of his stock 19 inch AMG wheels was a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 107 wheels finished in their signature and ever popular Carbon Graphite finish. This signature finish sets itself apart from other aftermarket finishes with the incorporation of glittery sparkles which sets a perfect contrast with not just the body colour of this Mercedes-Benz but also a gorgeous contrast with the tire wrapped around the alloy!

 

With the 10-multidimensional spokes on the front face of the wheel, featuring a mesh design, one may be forgiven for expecting the V-FF 107 wheel to be heavier in weight as compared to the other wheels out there. However, those spokes are as much for design as it is for durability & strength! The V-FF 107 wheel easily shaves off 40% of the weight of the 19 inch AMG stock wheels, while being as strong as a forged wheel. Those concaved spokes provide a much higher level of structural integrity to give an evermore increased level of strength and durability. These new wheels were equipped via a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts and fitted with a set of Vorsteiner Designer Red Caps which works well with the overall finish of the alloys finish and contrasts perfectly with the car’s body colour.

Through my eyes, working day to day handling the editorial segment of Autofuture Design’s Social Media content, I feel that the new V-FF 107 alloys does more than just boost the aesthetics of this C-Class. It makes it more aggressive whilst keeping it as classy as the Mercedes logo should resemble. In terms of dynamic performance, the lower weight of the wheels enables the extra torque presented by the C350e to rocket in and out of every corner.
