This Is a BMW F22 2-Series, the smallest coupe in BMW’s line up and with our client styling it up, in our eyes, it looks absolutely stunning! Absolutely aggressive, especially with the contrasting trim on the bodywork! However, as good looking as this BMW is, it was lacking a set of wheels to keep up with it’s bodywork and with that in mind, our client paid us a visit, looking for the perfect set of alloys for his ride!

Our client was looking for a wheel that was ultralight in weight! A wheel that would suit his car’s aggressive body work and push his BMW’s levels of performance. With his requirements being an 18 inch sized wheel, we suggested a set of Vorsteiner’s V-FF 108 wheels and after showing him photos of our completed installations, he gave us the green light for a set of V-FF 108 alloys!

The V-FF 108 alloy is definitely the benchmark alloy of the 18 inch segment! With a weight of 8.8 kilograms, the alloy sets the bar as the lightest wheel in the 18 inch segment. From an aesthetic point of view, the V-FF 108’s appearance is truly unique in its own way. The spokes of the wheel run from the center hub of the wheel to the outer rim of the alloy which depicts the appearance of this 18 inch wheel to be bigger than expected. Our client was surprised to see that despite the size of 18″, his new alloys appeared bigger than usual!

His BMW was previously fitted with a set of spacers and with the V-FF 108 alloys designed to fit flush within the fenders of the car without any enhancements, we wanted to remove the pair of rear spacers. However, our client insisted that we leave the spacers equipped and as such, after the installation of the V-FF 108 wheels were done, our photoshoot session began. Once our client glanced at the photos we snapped, he decided to have the spacers removed as his wheels were pushed over the fender line!

Comparing his stock 18 inch  alloys, the Vorsteiner V-FF 108’s cuts off about 35% of the weight of the initial stock wheels and thus, improves the cars dynamics in terms of acceleration and dynamics. Less weight equals more performance and there’s no finer example than the difference in driving feel after the installation of the V-FF 108 wheels. With the tyres fitted working well with the lightweight wheels, our clients confidence in the car was better than ever.
