There’s always been a common concern from BMW 5-Series owners and its whether the upsizing of wheels would affect the ride comfort of their vehicle. We were paid a visit by a client of which had the similar concerns as he was inquiring on upsizing his wheels, in the end however, he had no regrets whatsoever!

A common fear that plagues BMW 5-Series owners is the fear that upsizing their set of wheels would absolutely ruin the ride comfort of their vehicle but that’s usually not the case when with our previous encounters with tasks featuring a BMW 5-Series. We assured our client that the upsizing of wheels from his stock 18 inch M-Sport wheels will not ruin his ride comfort in any way at all and in the end, he was convinced and began his inquiries on a set of 20 inch wheels.

We have a broad selection of 20 inch wheels which keeps the F10 generation BMW 5-Series as classy as ever but hyping up its levels of sportiness. Based on our social media profiles, our client noticed that most of our makeovers were made possible with a set of Vorsteiner’s gorgeous alloy wheels. Despite the hype around the new V-FF 107 and V-FF 108 wheels, our client wanted something different. As such, delivering a combination that’s both classy and sporty to sit in place of the stock wheels, a set of Vorsteiner’s V-FF 105 wheels were selected and the end result was amazing!

The V-FF 105 was designed with sport and luxury vehicles as our primary targets. Inspired by aggressive exotic body lines, the V-FF 105’s 5-twin spoke design is best suited for vehicles similar to these and therefore fits gorgeously on this 5-series! With the F10’s Carbon Black body colour, the Carbon Graphite finish of the wheels works well with the car as a whole to deliver a more striking package. Installed via a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts and a set of Vorsteiner Designer Red center caps, the optional extras completely remodels the F10 to appear a whole lot more aggressive!

Though lightweight wheels would definitely improve both the BMW’s aesthetics and dynamics, this was not going to be enough for our client! To pair up with the new V-FF 105 alloys, We suggested a set of Pirelli P-Zero tires to be installed which were bundled up as a package with the V-FF 105 wheels to deliver a very attractive & reasonable price!

As a whole, with the new wheels and tires, the car would be able to push and handle better on the roads! However, from an aesthetic point of view, through my eyes, the concavity of the V-FF 105 wheels, especially in the rear with the 10.5J x 20″ setup, gives this F10 a superbly stylish stance! The Carbon Graphite finish of the wheels suits the Carbon Black body colour of the 5-Series perfectly! With the look of the V-FF 105 wheels and its 5-Twin Spoke design, it gives the 5-Series an even sportier look whilst keeping it classy. Though a set of lowering springs wouldn’t do harm to this F10’s aesthetics and in fact turn up the looks of the car as a whole, the combination of the F10’s aggressive design along with the striking characteristics of the V-FF 105 wheels presents a style that looks good and at the same time, isn’t too over the top!
