A regular client and friend of ours dropped by our showroom to have a look at our selection of Vorsteiner wheels! He came by in one of the very best hot hatches on the market, an Audi RS3 and was looking to have a set of our alloys on his all-new machine!

Our client got a set of Vorsteiner’s V-FF 103 wheels from us previously and we had em installed on his BMW F10 M5. Since then, he’s received countless amounts of compliments! From the looks to its performance, it was not only a breathtaking wheel but also a damn good performing wheel! Its so good in fact, when he paid a visit to his tire dealer to swap out his tires, his tire guys complimented the aesthetics of wheels and its astonishing low weight figure.

Now, as a huge Vorsteiner fan, our client returned to us for a set of Vorsteiner’s 19 inch alloys to be installed on to his Audi RS3 Hatchback. A Hot Hatch like no other, the RS3 has 360hp rocketing this car up to 100km/h in only 4.3 seconds, its a mean machine that only demands the finest, ultimate upgrades! With our client’s first hand experience with Vorsteiner wheels, a set of Vorsteiner wheels was the first upgrade on his list!

For this RS3, we have numerous Vorsteiner alloys that is compatible with the fitment requirements of the Audi and given that his stock wheels were 19 inches in diameter, our client wanted to maintain its size and retain its factory tires. That was no trouble on our side as we felt that a set of 19 inch wheels would be perfect for the RS3. For the RS3, the Vorsteiner wheels available are the V-FF 101, V-FF 103, V-FF 105, V-FF 106, V-FF 107, V-FF 108 and the VS-F 001.

From those seven options, our client picked out the V-FF 105, V-FF 106 and the VS-F 001 to be test fitted on to his car. From my point of view, being Autofuture Design’s editor in chief, I felt that the Vorsteiner VS-F 001 looked the best on our client’s ride and he agreed as well. However, the VS-F 001 was priced a little too high for his budget and in the end, our client decided to have a set of V-FF 106 alloys on his RS3, which had no objection from our office!

Before installing the set of alloys on to his Audi, we weighed the V-FF alloys and the stock alloys on a scale and the stock alloys weighed 13.5 kilograms whilst the V-FF 106 alloys weighed only 9.8 and that totals up into a weight reduction of 30%. Soon after, the installation of the wheels commenced and after our client had waited in our showroom for an hour or so, the RS3 returned, putting a big, bright smile on our client’s face!

Before returning the keys back to our client, we did a short photoshoot session and the RS3 looked amazing from all angles! With the V-FF 106 alloys boasting more aggressive offsets in comparison with the stock alloys, the new wheels sit flush within the RS3’s fenders. No center cones were needed and no modifications were done to install the new alloys and better yet, we threw in a set of Vorsteiner Red Designer Center Caps and a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts which also turns up the looks of the RS3 and gives it a meaner, aggressive look!

With all that said and done, we returned the keys to our client, and he took his RS3 for a drive and immediately the driving dynamics of the RS3 was multiplied and amplified! The low weight figure translated into much better driving dynamics on the RS3 and our client couldn’t be happier!
