Last week, just after we lifted the shutters of our showroom on a typical sunny morning, we were greeted by an email sent from one of our regular customers whom is based in East Malaysia. Our friend and client, whom is a massive car enthusiast had a unique restoration project being done on a rare Mercedes-Benz C215 CL500.

As we continued communicating with our loyal client via whatsapp personally, he stated his demands for a wheel that would suit his coupe and its Dark Steel body colour and so, after long discussions both on the phone and via email, we recommended a set of 20″ BBS XA wheels. The wheels boast a sleek looking two-tone finish with Night Fever Black on the base body of the wheels and a Brushed Silver finish on the spokes. Given that our client is based in the island of Borneo, we had to ship the wheels there via air freight.

But before that, to provide the best customer service possible, as our client needed a set of tires to go along with his wheels, we wrapped the four wheels with Dunlop rubbers to ensure levels of grip. After that, we did the balancing of the four wheels to provide our client with some peace of mind. Soon after, we wrapped up the four wheels to prepare it for its shipment and two days later, our client received the wheels. As seen in the photos which are credited to the owner, the wheels fit and in fact, make the elegant coupe look more dynamic. To avoid boring out our readers, we wont go into the technicalities but what we can report is, the cars square wheel layout enables the car to look more broad shouldered and muscular both in front and in the rear. The application was definitely a success and the CL500 not only looks more updated, it also looks more athletic.
