All around the world BMW’s iconic 3-Series has inspired the heart of enthusiasts everywhere. The following generations after each 3-Series has always been pushing the standards of BMW’s “Sheer Driving Pleasure” tagline.

We, Autofuture Design, are based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor but every so often, there are times it would be our pleasure to meet and re-establish connections with our fellow friends and auto enthusiasts everywhere. Quite recently, a friend of ours based in Singapore paid a met Allan Tan, the general manager of Autofuture Design. Just passing through Selangor to visit his relatives, he dropped by and chatted with Allan over a round of drinks.

We managed to grab a quick glance at his breathtaking heavily customised 3-Series which was super eye catching. Here’s a list of what he had already done to his Bimmer:

After a round of drinks and a long chit chat session on cars with Allan, he came back to our showroom and he was impressed with the brands we carry in our portfolio. However, though he had heard about the Vorsteiner brand, he had never seen them in person. So with that opportunity at hand, he managed to view all the Vorsteiner Flow Forged wheels in person. He was so impressed and so stunned with the weight reduction of the Vorsteiner wheels over his current Kelleners Sport Munchen wheels that he decided that he would probably purchase a set of Vorsteiner wheels on his next trip back to Malaysia in July.

That said, the next morning he called us up and decided to purchase a set of Vorsteiner Flow Forged V-FF 103 Wheels immediately instead of coming back in July to get it done with. In comparison to his Kelleners Sport wheels, the new Vorsteiner wheels are not only 30-40% lighter than the Kelleners Sport wheels but also much tougher and stronger. Finished in Carbon Graphite, the wheels contrast beautifully with the cars Alpine White body colour. Measured at 8.5J x 19″ at the front and 10J x 19″ in the rear these manage to remain flush within the fenders making the car look a ton more muscular.

The outcome after the installation was done gave a massive impression towards the owner as compared to its initial setup. The car feels as if it had gained another +20hp thanks to the massive weight reduction. To provide the best service possible for our clients, we called him up to ask for his feedback but he didn’t want to jump to conclusions as he only just begun rolling on these new Vorsteiner wheels. After he left KL back to Singapore, he messaged us his review, stating that “the new rims are awesome… The car feels livelier” whilst praising that our judgement was right “Weight does make a lot of difference and it also rides better over bumps and potholes thanks to the low weight” he added.
