Nothing changes a look of a car any more than a set of wheels that would completely change the look of your vehicle, which is exactly how this Volkswagen Golf Mk6 R looked after we grafted a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 108 alloys on!

The V-FF 108 has been one of our hot wheels on display in our showroom. Being Vorsteiner’s latest wheel release and manufactured exclusively in 18 inch diameters, this is a wheel that has opened a whole new world of fitment options and possibilities for owners looking for a set of 18 inch wheels!

A gorgeous Matte Grey Volkswagen Mk6 paid us a visit months ago, looking for a set of 18 inch wheels that would not only suit his bodywork but also replace his cracked up stock alloys. This is a very common complaint from our customers as the Golf’s stock 19 inch alloys remain heavy and brittle.

However, it took us some time before we could give our client a solution as we ran out of stock for the V-FF 108 wheels! Every day since its introduction, we’ve had dealers and clients all over the country inquiring and requesting for a set of V-FF 108 wheels which comes to us as no surprise because these alloys look so good! No other manufacturer has been able to incorporate gorgeous looks and high performance into an 18 inch package like Vorsteiner has! Our client was adamant for a set of 18 inch wheels as he wanted a bit more comfort to his ride and the new V-FF 108’s installed on to his car not only deliver comfort but also a reduction in weight and an increase in strength for added peace of mind when rolling over potholes.

In the end, our massive shipment of about 100 sets of wheels arrived and we replenished our stock of V-FF 108 alloys of which a set was waiting to be installed on to our clients Golf R. The V-FF 108 incorporates a particularly sharp and pointed design that bridges the gap between Vorsteiner’s other curved designs. This rounded design is ideal for the sharper lines and chiseled chins on specific vehicles, such as the look of this Hot Hatch.

Installed in a fitment size of 8.5J x 18 at all four corners, the set up enables a fitment that is flush and aligned with the fenders of the Golf. Finished in Vorsteiner’s signature Carbon Graphite finish, the wheel complements the look of the Golf and makes it better with a glittery accent that Vorsteiner has incorporated with the finish of the wheels. Last but not least, to bring out the best performance and not just aesthetics, the new V-FF 108 alloys were wrapped up with a set of Pirelli P-Zero PZ4 tires which are the flagship P-Zero performance tires available on the market! The whole combo was installed via a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts for a more attractive end to a refreshing makeover on this Volkswagen Golf R!
