Sitting in my room in the office, surrounded by the gorgeous selections of wheels around me, I was greeted by a phone call of which came from a prospective client! Our client was looking for a set of 20 inch wheels for his Audi S5 sportback. As such with a car like this, we have dozens and dozens of applications, ready for his ride but as he mentioned his size requirements at 20 inches, we narrowed it down to a selection of eight wheels!

Via mobile phone, we sent him images of eight wheels being the V-FF 102, V-FF 103, V-FF 105, V-FF 107, V-FF 110 from Vorsteiner and another three being the FF01, FF04, and FF15 from HRE Performance Wheels! With the images sent, our client was spoilt with too many choices and with that in mind, we invited our client down to our office, to have a look at the wheels we have on display!

Photos will never be able to project a similar image to a product in person and as soon as our client arrived, having looked at his car, we recommended a set of Vorsteiner’s V-FF 102 wheels! It’s been a while since we’ve said this but with each and every wheel made by Vorsteiner, they tailor the wheels design to a particular car. For instance, a wheel that’s made for this Audi S5, wouldn’t fit on any other car and that’s how Vorsteiner designs a wheel to fit perfectly on a particular vehicle. In my own opinion, the V-FF 102 comes across as the perfect set of alloys for this ride. Instead of any other wheel in our inventory, we felt that the V-FF 102 alloy would be able to turn up the looks of this Audi especially with the deep concavity profile of the alloys! 10 straight spokes make up for the design of the wheel and the Carbon Graphite finish selected by our client provides the best compromise of sportiness and class.

Once the decision was made, the installation of the wheels were done pretty fast! We had the 10J x 20″ wheels wrapped up with a set of Pirelli P-Zero tires of which were sized at 275/30/R20. The whole set was installed via a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts and to top it all off, we fitted a set of Gold Vorsteiner Center Caps, a new release by our partners in the USA.

As mentioned previously, Vorsteiner designs each wheel fitment for a particular car and when the set of alloys were installed, they take the Audi’s aesthetics to a whole new level! The offsets that Vorsteiner has implemented in tailoring this particular wheel fitment ensures that all of the alloys exhibit a deep concavity profile unlike any other wheel out there! The broader size adds some aggression into the mix by giving the S5 a stronger and more aggressive presence!
