About few weeks ago, we encountered a regular client of ours of which was going to get his hands on a new Porsche 911 Carrera S! Our client contacted us during the Festive Chinese New Year season, with a particular set of wheels already in mind to sit in place of his stock alloy wheels!

Vorsteiner’s V-FF 101 wheels were the set of alloys he had selected and no doubt, we wholeheartedly agreed with his decision! The V-FF 101 wheel is the original mascot of the Vorsteiner Flow Forged Series of which has been one of their most successful designs. Its timeless five Y-spoke layout is graceful yet sporty in its nature. It’s so great that we have even installed a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 101 wheels on our showroom’s Porsche 997 showcar!

However, the V-FF 101 is only available in Carbon Graphite of which was not what our client was looking for. Don’t get us wrong though, the signature Carbon Graphite finish by Vorsteiner looks absolutely amazing in our eyes, but every one is different and therefore our client preferred a darker, Satin Black finish on his set of Vorsteiner V-FF 101 wheels.

As such, keeping to our principles of delivering the best customer service possible, we arranged the set of alloys to have it sprayed in to our client’s desired customized Satin Black finish and the end result was great! Soon after, we arranged a convenient time for our client to bring in his Porsche and began the installation of the wheels. With a Satin Black finish on the wheels, we threw in a set of Vorsteiner Designer Red Center Caps of which not only contrasts perfectly with the wheels but also matches up with the red brake calipers of the 911 and as a whole only makes the whole car and wheel combination ever more stunning! To top it all off, we even installed the wheels via a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts for added detail that would make this Porsche even more eye-catching to the finest details.

In terms of technicalities, stock Porsche 911 alloys are not only extremely heavy in weight, but when fitted, remain deep in the fender, distrupting the natural curves of this iconic Porsche supercar. As such, when Vorsteiner manufactured the V-FF 101 to the 911’s specifications, they ensured that the fitment will ensure a flush fitment within the fenders that ensures that the wheel’s, when fitted, would deliver an aggressive, parallel to fender fitment! The fitment sizes of 8.5J x 20″ in the front and 11J X 20″ in the rear enables a super flush fitment of wheels that sits absolutely parallel to the fenders of the Porsche.

All in all, without these Vorsteiner goodies, this Porsche 911 Carrera S wouldn’t ever be perfect! The marriage of an outstanding supercar and outstandingly outspoken, gorgeous wheels truly takes this Carrera to the next level. With the vehicle’s opulent white paint job gorgeously contrasting with the custom Satin Black finish on the wheels, the stock alloys of the Porsche would be no match in terms of both aesthetics and performance for the Vorsteiner alloys!
