Built To Perform: Mercedes-Benz GLC 250 AMG Equipped With Vorsteiner V-FF 103 Wheels
Recently, the Malaysian car market has been flooded with various newly introduced cars to offer buyers more options in terms of vehicle selection and variety. Here’s our first ever makeover on the the newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLC 250 AMG!
In recent social media affairs, Vorsteiner wheels has been one of the popular options for vehicle owners out there. Yet again, a client of ours approached us seeking a set of premium aftermarket wheels. The GLC 250 AMG as its name suggests, comes equipped with various AMG goodies like AMG body trim and AMG tuned adaptive suspension. However, the owner of this car feels that the stock 20″ AMG wheels that’s on the GLC 250 is rather inadequate in terms of aesthetics and performance.
With its excessive weight and narrow construction, the owner took no extra time when he took ownership of his car when he was looking out for a set of wheels, and of course the wheel that caught his attention was a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheels finished in Brushed Aluminium. That said, he wanted his original tires fitted on the new wheels and as such, we fitted the wheels with square setup of 9J x 20″ in order to support and fit the stock Pirelli tires. To make these wheels more outstanding our client chose to fit the new wheels with a set of Vorsteiner Limited Edition 10th Anniversary Red Centre Caps and a set of Vorsteiner Spline Lug Bolts.
Soon after, we brought our client to our dedicated workshop and removed the stock tires from the previous AMG wheels and then, strapped them on to the new V-FF 103 alloys. Shortly after, we did the usual balancing and check for alignment issues before the owner brought it our for a drive. As always, the superb reviews of Vorsteiner wheels has never failed our expectations, especially with an overall 50% weight reduction over the stock AMG wheels. The car feels more planted and handles much better through the corners.
