CLA200: AMG + Carlsson Makeover
The CLA-Class in the Mercedes-Benz line up is a great looking car. With its coupe like profile, this curvaceous car never fails to impress bystanders. However, with the addition of the AMG front and rear bumpers, the customer was not fully satisfied with the aesthetics of his car. With our lengthy experience in car customisation, we recommended the application of a complete Carlsson add-on body kit. This resulted in the CLA being both attractive and aggressive as well as unique in its own way.
From the factory CLA200, we’ve added on the AMG front and rear bumper to improve performance and airflow as well as enhance it’s general aesthetics. Soon after, we applied the full Carlsson body kit as it is compatible with the AMG bumpers.
Over in the front, the Carlsson front spoiler improves the general aesthetics, enabling it to look more sporty and sleek. The bumper functions collaboratively with the front spoiler to reduce drag over the front fascia and increase high-speed performance. Downforce over the front of the car is also improved with the addition of the front spoiler, whilst at the same time channeling air to the front brakes to allow the brakes to perform better. For showcasing that coupe like profile at the side, we’ve fitted the Carlsson side skirts to place emphasis on the cars sleek and low stance. In the rear, at the curvaceous rear end, the aggressive design of the AMG bumper, is further enhanced with the Carlsson rear bumper lip spoiler to reduce drag and increase downforce.
For that additional touch of increased handling, the owner of this car has equipped his CLA with Carlsson 1/10BE rims measuring 8.5j x 20″ at all four corners wrapped up with grippy Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
