A client paid us a visit looking for a set of 22-inch wheels for his soon-to-be-delivered new BMW X5! After surveying his options, he left our office. Days went by with no word from our client and after some time, he surprisingly showed up at our doorstep, with his new BMW X5 xDrive 45e, ready to have a set of our wheels installed on his brand-new SUV!

Our client excitedly dropped by our office just after collecting his new BMW X5, and he was looking to spice up the look of his new SUV with a set of our 22-inch wheels! Of all the wheel designs we have on display, our client felt that the HRE Performance FF10 Wheel would best suit the look of his X5!

We couldn’t agree more! HRE Performance Wheels produces the FF10 wheel in a unique application for the new BMW X5 and as HRE Performance’s Exclusive Distributor in Malaysia, despite the X5 being relatively new, we have that particular application in ready-stock!

HRE’s FlowForm wheels are incredibly popular, offering great strength, fantastic designs, and an affordable price. In case you didn’t already know, wheels that use a flow form construction is the perfect middle ground between cast and fully forged wheels. It starts with a wheel barrel that is placed on a machine that spins the wheel whilst pressing a steel roller against the rim area, which compresses and stretches the barrel of the wheel, resulting in forged-like barrel strength and weight.

With a car of the X5’s size, a set of 22-inch wheels would be perfect and with that in mind, we installed the set of FF10 wheels which were sized out at 10.5J x 22-inches in the front and 11.5J x 22-inches in the rear, substantially wider than factory! The offsets engineered into the wheels enables a superbly flush fitment, perfectly parallel to the fenders of the X5, giving it a broader and more aggressive stance. In addition to that, the Liquid Metal finish of the wheels sets a perfect contrast with the metallic Phytronic Blue paintwork of the X5 and the newly installed Continental ContiSportContact tires would guarantee levels of grip that would ensure this X5 drives with utmost confidence through any curve!

After the installation of the tire and wheel combo was completed, we handed the keys back to our client and he loved the new look and feel of the X5! It not only looked better than factory but also drove better than he ever expected!
