A familiar Vorsteiner fan paid a visit to our showroom lately and we were in for a surprise! Our esteemed client had already swapped out at least four sets of stock alloys for a few sets of Vorsteiner alloys on his other vehicles such as his Mercedes-Benz G-Class (http://www.autofuturedesign.com.my/v3/amg-rarity-mercedes-benz-g63-amg-wagon-equipped-with-vorsteiner-v-ff-107-wheels/) and when he paid us a visit notifying us of his order of a brand new Range Rover Vogue, he immediately wanted to amplify the presence of his ride!

He came to us with his immediate intentions of upgrading the aesthetics of his Range Rover and as he was a Vorsteiner fan we looked at the Vorsteiner Veritas bodykit for the Range Rover! Partnering up with our client, we aimed to design Malaysia’s first Range Rover Vorsteiner Veritas redesign. The whole package includes a front and rear bumper of which is completely built of Autoclaved Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber which incorporates a UV Inhibiting Clear Lacquer Coating for a clearer, glossier finish.

The production of the bodykit requires a lead time of four weeks as the whole part and prouct is hand made to ensure the very best qualities and finishes. As we placed the order and was just wrapping up our meeting with our client, he glanced at Vorsteiner’s new Flow Forged wheel, the V-FF 109 and instantly fell in love with the design! It was Vorsteiner’s latest launch and release and with him being a massive Vorsteiner Fanatic, he desperately wanted to be the first Range Rover Vogue to have it equipped and as such, we assisted our client in redesigning his Range Rover!

As with anything new that comes in or is already available, we carried ready, available stock for the new V-FF 109 wheels, we picked a set of V-FF 109’s which were sized at 10.5J x 22″ and despite having the same diameter as his stock wheels which are also in 22 inch sizes, Vorsteiner’s proprietary aluminium compound which is incorporated into the manufacture of these wheels enables the new alloys to shave off 40% of the stock wheel’s weight! Vorsteiner’s lightweight technology produces wheels that are lighter in weight compared to a conventional cast construction, yet substantially stronger. The majority of surplus weight can be shaved by the use of less but stronger aluminum. In addition, we meticulously reduce the weight of the wheel utilizing back-pad pocketing as well as front and rear spoke pocketing.

The V-FF 109 is the redesigned rendition of a modern day 10 spoke design. Featuring spoke cuts to reduce weight whilst adding subtle details to the design. In addition to that, the spokes are designed to run from the outer lip all the way to the center of the bowl giving the illusions of a larger overall diameter. Strong, light and stunning, this Range Rover will look better than ever before!

In a nutshell, with the new wheels snapped on, it broadens the width of the shoulders of the car along with lengthening the wheel track of the Range Rover. This is us wrapping up the first step of this breath taking Range Rover’s makeover and as you can see, it looks amazing as it stands! At the time of this write up, were waiting for Vorsteiner USA to wrap up the manufacture of the bodykit and when it arrives, we’ll surely do another write up on Malaysia’s first Vorsteiner Range Rover Veritas!
