Monaco Blau, thats German for Monaco Blue, featured on the body of the BMW E60. Despite its age, the BMW E60 is still a very capable car. That said, the car does look a tad bit aged being in production from 2003 till 2010 especially with its widespread controversy regarding the cars aesthetics. Given that the car is a pre-facelift model, when the Beemer visited our showroom, we were ready to give it a refresh.

In the realm of aftermarket enhancements, Vorsteiner products are growing rapidly in popularity. As such, the application of a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 103‘s finished in Carbon Graphite would be perfect to replace his replica wheels. Though Vorsteiner does not state the fitment of wheels for BMW E60’s, our knowledge and expertise enabled us to recognise the requirements for the fitment of these wheels. We used a set of Kelleners Sport wheel spacers to achieve the perfect exterior set-up. Being rear-wheel drive, of course the wheels are laid out in a staggered format with the front wheels measured at 8.5J x 19″ and the rear wheels measured at 10J x 19″. The wide rear wheels, truly highlight the groundbreaking depth of concavity exclusive to wheels manufactured by Vorsteiner. The front wheels weigh 9.71kg each and the rear wheels weigh 10.39kg each.

To overcome the office’s Monday morning blues, a returning regular customer brought in a BMW E71 X6 fully equipped with BMW’s M-Performance pack. With its flared fenders, and super aggressive bumpers, this Beemer boasts a brutally menacing front fascia. As the owner whom is a massive car enthusiast, he tuned up his car both inside and out to maximise the X6’s performance. The modifications include, ecu remapping, stage 2 engine tuning and a set H&R of spacers to align the wheels in parallel with the fenders. As it sits, his X6 came with 21″ BMW Performance Wheels Style 375 and its aesthetics though aggressive, the contours and curvatures of the wheel give it a rather flat profile.

As BMW’s of the modern era come in all shapes and sizes, Vorsteiner of course has manufactured their wheels to fit on the X6 shown in the photos. Without the need of a set of spacers, the wheels sit exactly parallel to the fenders of the car showcasing its masculinity. The pristine X6 now has a touch more aggression with the new V-FF 103’s. With an 11J x 21″ rear end, the wheels concaved profile definitely stands out among the other X6’s out there. The owner chose a set of 21 inch Vorsteiner Flow Forged V-FF 103 wheels, which contrast gorgeously with the cars white body.

With red & blue Martini striped livery, this Porsche Cayenne GTS would turn heads regardless of place. The Audi A6 Hybrid is one of the premium saloons seen often on our roads. With its introduced tax exemption back in 2013, the car was priced at RM 280k and therefore attracted many buyers nationwide. However, despite the cars sleek and modern aesthetics, the overall exterior of the car is ruined by the stock set of 18″ rims. With the stock wheels place too deep within the fender, it detracts the car from looking sporty and athletic but instead, makes the car look more plain all in part due to the unattractive design of the wheels themselves.

And so, with another customer approaching us with an Audi A6 Hybrid, we recommended a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 103‘s. We chose the V-FF 103’s due to its design and dimensions that will suit the car perfectly. Fitted with aggressive and square wheel layout measured at 9.5J x 19″ at all four corners, the new wheels sit perfectly parallel to the fenders of the car. These wheels were seem as though they tailored made as they ensure that the wheels fitment is spot on. Adding into the overall cool factor, the concavity profile of these wheels makes the car look more dynamic as compared to the other wheels. The wheel’s finish in Carbon Graphite also adds some character in the equation with its cool, almost matte like finish. Given that this car came with Eibach lowering springs, it further highlights the sleek looks of this A6 made only better with the addition of the new Vorsteiner V-FF 103’s.

The BMW i8 sets itself apart from other super cars with its futuristic and modern design. With a near concept-car-like look, park an i8 anywhere in the world, and even amongst other exotics this super-hybrid will definitely steal the show. Built to be efficient and super speedy BMW states that 0 to 100kmh takes 4.2 seconds, although others have recorded a timing considerably faster than BMW’s official figures. With the i8’s amazing looks, Vorsteiner has fitted a set of V-FF 103‘s to highlight the aggressive character of the car.

In Crystal Pearl White with Frozen Blue i Accents, Vorsteiner’s decision to fit a set of V-FF 103’s in its brushed aluminium finish truly highlights and enhances the sporty appeal of the car. With the i8’s wide and sleek body, the wheels fit in perfectly albeit with a bit of contrast due to its brushed aluminum finish. The unique design of the wheels and aesthetic curvatures present on the wheels design, truly redefine the cool looks of this car. To make the i8 more muscular, Vorsteiner’s fitment of wheels, measured at 9J x 20″ in the front and 10J x 20″ in the rear allows the wheels to sit parallel to the fenders of the car. On the i8, this staggered layout enables the car to achieve a more aggressive stance, especially with the extreme concavity of the rear wheels.
